Sorry I'm so late with a much needed update with what has been going on with the Brightstar. Namely with me. So far this year has been a busy one for me. The captain and I agreed (after getting out one newsletter for the months of January and February 2025) to shut down the newsletter for a period of time. This was due to the fact that I had to go house hunting. The lease on the place we were renting was coming up for renewal at the end of April 2025. We were notified that the rent would be going up. The rent they wanted us to pay, was more than we could afford. And the place was not worth the rent price. So, we started the great hunt for a house back in March 2025. Luckily it only took a month to find a house, but with all the hoops we had to jump through and the repair work that had to done on the house before we could move in, we weren't able to officially move in until end of May 2025 (and that is after having to extend our lease by one month. And that cost some extra money on top of the rent we had to pay). Once we got everything moved in, then came the unpacking and setting up and relearning how up to do everything again. Once that was done then we got started on the newsletter (again). But while tying to do this, we kept having hick-ups along the way. We thought we could have the newsletter by the end June. Nope didn't happen. Then it was the end of July. We had another hick-up. Then July turned into the end of August, the end of August turn into the of September and finally after all the stuff we had to go through, we were able to get a newsletter out for the month of October. So, after six months we are back on track once again. This means that our volume year will no longer take place in July, but instead will take place in October. This will have no effect on the archive section of this website. It will be replace with the previous volume year. Even though the 2025 volume year will only have four issue to its name.  Well, that is pretty munch it in a nutshell.

It's time to put the puppy to bed.
